A farming family in Montana confronts others encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned hand in the Rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to "forget" his Montana accent and reverts back to the SoCal speaking voice he normally uses.. Featured in WatchMojo: 10 Best Summer TV Shows Off Your Radar (2018). This is the kind of show where cowboy/western life meets big city mob life. This show is well cast, the first two episodes were well written and you will want more after each episode. Not to mention the scenery in Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of the Ewings from the 1970s drama “Dallas”. Yellowstone is simply "Dallas" meets "The Sopranos".
