CBS originally had a series commitment for 2020, but it was canceled shortly before the first episode was filmed due to COVID. . Now it’s been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, The Brass Verdict.

In California, personalized plates can have a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all Mickey plates have a minimum of eight. Lincoln’s lawyer was actually better than I expected. I never read the books it was based on, but I watched the Matthew McConaughey movie and thought it was pretty good, but not worthy of a series.
I couldn’t have been more wrong
To be honest, I expected it to be a low-budget rip-off. I actually liked it more than the movie. I wasn’t going to watch it until I saw all the great reviews and that it was one of Netflix’s most watched series of the year.
While it’s not the best lawyer show you’ll ever see, it’s definitely worth watching
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo does a great job in the title role, and Becky Newton, Neve Campbell, Angus Sampson, and others do well in the supporting roles.
