I waited a long time for 4 episodes to really delve into this.
The idea was to give us a chance to appreciate the gift we’ve been given by the many A-list actors who contributed to this work, which is also entertaining and widely acclaimed despite mixed reviews
Many viewers have been told stories from a similar point of view, but this perspective remains exciting when it’s coupled with a confusing but well-paced plot with female leads, each of whom confidently commands our attention every time she appears.
Halfway through the film, we can’t say whether that sense of urgency as we learn more and more about what’s going on will remain at the level it is now, but given the subject matter, the budget, and the amount of talent they’ve managed to bring to the screen, it’s going to be hard to miss the landing, especially given the series’ solid foundation
