Chronology
Local rebellious teenager Klotter falls in love with his classmate Jackie, but gang violence leads him down a darker and more destructive path. Malik Frikah, who plays 17-year-old Klotter in this film, became the world champion in break-dancing at the age of 10. One of the characters wears a Rolex Daytona Ceramic from the 1990s, but the timepieces were only released in 2016.

To be honest, I expected a lot from this movie for 3 months and, to be honest, I was very disappointed with the script, because it was very bad and boring, I didn’t expect it, in the end, but such a story explains how it happened, because it was very good and great potential to get the best story, the love of the film industry, such a shame! First of all, the argument of the script is great, you managed to make such a good story to attract the viewer, but unfortunately, the way the script was handled was misinterpreted by the writers… because the old period explaining the childhood is cool, but too much for a long time and you get bored, because a lot has happened, and it is very useful to show and explain that 30 minutes to show the past is great, but 1 hour and 15 minutes is too long!!!
You expect a remake of a film when you see old children in adults, well
notice, nothing moves, everything is very slow, there is little action, so the main character could atone for his guilt a little. his old problems, to take revenge on all the people who betrayed him, and he didn’t do that… I mean, the story would be better with ideas, and it’s a shame that the dramatic wall was not enough, too bad, because it would be great history!!

And as for the script, the two main actors that we like play together for only 20 minutes, which is not enough for a very long film of 2 hours 40 minutes, and it’s a shame, because we expected more moments with these two actors, a very bad moment. .The direction, the soundtrack, the world and the color of the team – these are the only advantages of the film, with a good performance of the entire cast, but for me the worst moments are the very slow and long script that killed the film.. Thank you Gilles Lelouch for your great direction, but your screenwriters and the different decisions they made killed the movie, even if this story is from a book, and you can’t bring to life the ideas you want …
