The film starts off annoying and shaky, but slowly a fascinating story develops
I don’t know if Alfonso has an enemy on IMDB, that explains the brutal and unfair 1-star ratings, but they are completely off the mark.. At first it doesn’t seem like an outright mystery, more like a tragic drama. But you get the feeling that there is more to the story than the seemingly obvious good and evil characters.
Now, on to the grey cat
It gets darker and more complex with each episode. To the point where I felt like I had to come back here to change my original review and add stars. The cockroach situation is disturbing and insightful.
Curious, mischievous, entertaining, and tender
A tiny detail, but this may be the first show I’ve ever seen that actually portrays a real cat-human relationship. How a cat is always by your side. I really appreciate a movie where the cat isn’t portrayed as aloof or even a dark presence.
Hopefully it gets an Oscar!
The grey cat in this movie has more charm than all the humans combined and steals the show from every scene it’s in. It’s a great show and I’m totally on board!
