Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to create an animated series that took several years to create.

After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce. Featured in AniMat’s geek cartoon: Geeked Week for Freaks (2021). Enemy was written by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, Robin Fredriksson, Mattias Larsson, Justin Tranter, J.I.D.
Starring Imagine Dragons with JID
Arcane tells the story of two young orphaned sisters who grow up and get into trouble in the dual cities of Zaun and Piltover. The series is based on the video game League of Legends, and while it takes you straight into this fictional world, it takes time and attention to craft locations and characters that complement the show-and-don’t-tell style. The solid character development and world-building mean it’s a thoroughly enjoyable watch, even without knowing anything about the game.
The animation is absolutely brilliant
As an anime fan, I found the animation in Arcane to be smoother than anything I’ve seen in an animated series. There’s an incredible attention to detail. It’s clear that no artistic talent or money has been spared in resurrecting the world of Runeterra.
Great soundtrack, great acting, and an engaging story that pulls no punches when it comes to violence and more mature content
