A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams
The film was created from several recordings of interviews that filmmaker Michael Gracey conducted with Robbie Williams over the course of a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles, USA. Although the interviews were not originally intended for film, as Gracey “wanted to capture [Williams] in just his own voice telling his story”, the majority of Williams’ voiceover in the film comes from these recordings.
So full of life
Included in The 7PM Project: December 5, 2024 Episode (2024). I wish they could make more films like this.
Robbie, raw and undeveloped, does it in his own way
The monkey actually made a lot of sense and made the connection between us and Robbie much easier to understand. The film is full of production values, life lessons, fantastic music and dancing and, I repeat, AWESOME.
And now for the monkey: the best part!
For some reason I can’t really explain, it made the story more accessible. I didn’t feel like I was watching a monkey, but it was definitely Robbie Williams.
What a beautiful production
I think the entire cast of the film should give themselves a pat on the back. I can’t wait to see more films like this.
