In Javanese culture, Sengkolo is a negative entity that often haunts people, brings bad luck and brings disaster. On the first night in Suro, Sengkolo targeted several Weton who were his prey. The original title was called “Sengkolo: Pemandi Mayat”… Only watch it in the Malaysian cinema, quite shocked that I haven’t seen any reviews for this movie yet. I love crazy horror movies. For me: the acting is perfect. I feel a family connection between them. Some of the supporting cast could use a little polishing, but overall pretty good. Ghost is really scary and realistic. There are a lot of jump scenes, but that adds to the movie. Yes 2. A delightfully scary movie.+ a supporting actor in a cinema where everyone screams when a certain scene takes place. If Indonesian horror continues to improve, I’m pretty sure they’ll make it all over the world. Best wishes from Malaysia.
